He who comes from my mother’s house, he to me is my mother’s house; we shall talk comfortably together. I will place his head on my feet and embrace him, I will make haste to drink the water in which your feet have been washed. I will ask in every way after his health and comfort, what a sacred opportunity for such enquiries! I will tell him faithfully all my joys and troubles—every one of them just as it is. Tuka says, I shall never tire of this delight, I shall repeat my words time after time.
