Tukaram, Poem 1486

Why do my eyes see not Pandhari? In what respect have they sinned? I know not. Why do my feet not walk on the road there? What unseen action of theirs restrains them? Why falls not my head at His feet? Why is not satisfied this desire of my senses? Why is not sanctified my tongue by His praise? Says Tuka, why do I not make a bundle of myself and fall down and roll at the temple door?
