Tukaram, Poem 1462

Listen, O mother, to my entreaty; O Bhagirathi,
that cleansest from sin! To live
with thee is solace, to die with thee liberation;
here and yonder thou givest bliss. I, Tuka, the
servant of Vishnu, the nurseling of the saints,
send thee a flower of speech.
