Tukaram, Poem 1454

What merit have I, that I should now be able
to keep the promise I made? With Your
permission, O Lord, I depart; now I will pass the
time wherever I may. I cannot be patient when I
see the kingdom and the world oppressed. Tuka
says, It seems you have abandoned me; what a life
is this mine has become!
