These are not my words; such, be assured, is the speech of a hired messenger of Vitthoba. His word has rescued my firm belief; the merciful one has saved me from sorrow. I am filled with a rapture of joy, my speech is sweetened by the utterance of His name. I am set free from fear hereafter; I am become a dweller in heaven, says Tuka, I have attained the bliss of love and joy.
