Tukaram, Poem 1361

Tears stream from my eyes, my throat is
choking; let me come to meet Thee, O Panduranga. I have been cast away many days; why
hast Thou left me without hope? Where is Thy
love? My heart calls on Thee;
Thou hast forgotten me; my life, however, is ebbing
away. Pilgrims pass on to Pandhari; I send Thee
a message by the saints. Who but Thou will run
to my aid? Why hast Thou forgotten me? For once at least
bear me in mind; come to lift me up, says Tuka.
