Tukaram, Poem 1341

Praises to Narayana! Bring the grain together; chaff and corn separate of themselves. Hold the pestle with care above the spot where it is to fall, deliver your blow carefully and steadily. With perfect attention I deal my blows steadily. The bracelets ring with steady music; sweet is the song; let us sing on! There is no weariness about this pounding, so long as we forget the difference between You and me. Tuka says, When His form is truly reflected in the mirror of the mind, the food will be clearly prepared in consequence of that.
