Tukaram, Poem 1336

I am the village-wit; the terror of all evil spirits.
While I am speaking to one as a friend,
another comes along to play its tricks. I challenge
everyone, but won’t let any one lay a finger on me.
Tuka says, I will shut him up; I’ll conquer in any
wordy warfare.
