Tukaram, Poem 1201

A speech of a Thug is irreproachable; but his
secret thought is how to ensnare you. How
goodly he is outside! yet he is not sincere; he is a
low scoundrel. He wears the mark of a saint, the
head gear and the rosary on his neck, but he takes
you aside in the darkness and strangles you. Tuka
says, He is a rogue.
