Tukaram, Poem 1184

He knows not what is right; he is dragged
along by the organs of sense; he continues
prating in the words which he has learned. Such
an one goes to hell himself and would take forty-two
families and the world besides with him. He shuts
his eyes and utters things unfit for speech; he talks
idle nonsense to gratify his pride. Tuka says, I
have scrutinized him; I know him for one who
dances in imitation of others.
