Tukaram, Poem 989

Cry out “Hari” all of you, and the snares of illusion will be broken. Do not be swallowed up by other vile desires; they will bring much misery with them. Fold your hands and offer with true faith water and a leaf of tulsi; call yourself a sinner once and again. Tuka says, He is an ocean of mercy; if you utter His name, He will carry you to the goal.
