Tukaram, Poem 933

Amid a pile of pots, one is used for cooking,
another to hold filth; such are the different
lots of men, as destiny appoints them. There are
diamonds and common stones in one mine together;
but how could the other stones possess the lustre
of the diamond? Tuka says, The one is set on the
head; the others are used for a staircase.
