Spirit of mine inured to shame, how long shall I instruct Thee? Pursue nothing. The enjoyment of society brings misery. Whether any praise or blame or love Thee, care not for the pain or pleasure of this. Is it not because of this nature of Thine that the mystics assume one portion and remain still? Tuka says, Consider well, my spirit, and make thyself harder than adamant.
