Tukaram, Poem 860

They take a lamp and go looking for darkness. The wonder is they believe they have found it. We servants of Vishnu fear not time and death; we have left the mirage of the world; it never overtakes us. If you raise a cloud of dust, you defile the sunlight; O ill-starred creatures, cannot you perceive this? Tuka says, I am covering up fire with a heap of straw; my words are idle.
