Tukaram, Poem 761

The saints have returned me an answer that calms all fear; it has given me repose.
Now that I have tasted this juice of love, I shall not abandon it; O give me, Narayana, the gift of Thy favour.
If destiny grants it as our due portion on earth, we shall stand by Thy feet.
Tuka says, I worship Thee with my lips; I sing of Thee in stammering accents.
