Tukaram, Poem 625

I must needs declare my mind, O God; how is it You know it not? Appoint me my lot as you will; I shall not change. My mind is lame; I can recall no remedy; so I have embraced Your feet. Both enjoyment and renunciation bring pain; why should I go on doing and undoing? I have fallen into a grave doubt. Tuka says, When a mother has lost her child in the wood, she grieves because she cannot find Him, O mother Vitthala.
