Tukaram, Poem 614

Who asks whether we are faint or weary?
Who else but Thou asks us, O Panduranga?
To whom shall we tell our joys and sorrows? Who
will relieve our hunger and thirst? What other
will chase away our fever and deliver us? Whom
should we ask for the morsel we want? Who will
delight to caress us? To whom shall we allow
authority but to Thee? What ally shall we find?
Tuka says, O Lord, who knowest all, I throw myself
at Thy feet.
