Tukaram, Poem 591

I am not wearied, but I am afraid: what can I do in my ignorance? City and waste are alike to me; anger and lust have become my footstools. O infinite one, I have conquered the six rebels now, through the compelling power of Thy name. My chief duty now is like a servant to forward my lord’s purposes with ready obedience; therefore Tuka stands gazing on his feet, listening for his word.
