Why should I cast my body on saws or sharp weapons, or into the midst of fire? Why should I dwell in the forest suffering cold, heat and thirst; why should I sit dumb? Why should I put ashes or dust on my head and wander through the four quarters of the land? Why should I give up food and fast; why should I destroy my life? Tuka says, Why should I adopt such means as these? Give me faith, O Panduranga!
