Tukaram, Poem 523

All the steps I have wandered have been
wasted; there is but one door to enter by.
The secret is to set the feet of Vitthala in one’s
soul; let no one forget it for a moment. It is easy
for all to find this element; no secret introduction
in your ear is needed. Tuka says, Here every
desire is satisfied; he, the root and trunk of all, is
sufficient.
