Tukaram, Poem 499

He who sings for the music’s sake keeps the
mind interested. When a hungry man
sees food, then it is hard to abstain from eating.
So keep your mind in an expectant frame to hear
God’s praises. Tuka says, No one is satisfied till he
has eaten his food.
