Tukaram, Poem 487

True repentance: guilt vanishes in the
twinkling of an eye; the transgressor remains
at peace; a good man from first to last. This is
the true ceremony of purification, to bathe the mind
in repentance. Tuka says, Sin cannot touch repentance.
