Tukaram, Poem 426

We are known to each other of old; if you
will cast me off, you are welcome to do so;
you will lose your name for honesty; degradation
will fall to me. The deposit I have made with you
—is it right you should deny it through avarice?
Tuka says, O generous one, do not hesitate!
