Tukaram, Poem 412

I speak in a resolute spirit; these are not the
words of a friend. My mind is thrown into a
fever when I hear of the distress of others; now
that I see it visibly near me, I can bear it no
longer. If you keep Tuka in this mind, the devotees
will curse you.
