Tukaram, Poem 193

It was You who created me: how could I be
different from You? Consider now yourself
if I am not just like You, neither more nor less.
In the place where you set me I have continued,
obedient to You. Tuka says, Now I declare plainly,
I am free from actions, like yourself.
