Tukaram, Poem 98

His companions begin to cry, “Kanhoba, you never let us get the better of you. We won’t play any more; we have found out what you are like. We cannot bear the weight; you ride on our shoulders so long together.” Tuka grows angry against the devotee’s life, but God will not let him retire.
