Out of the depths I cry unto Thee, Yahweh.
2. Lord, hear my voice;
let Thine ears be attentive
to the accents of my prayer!
3. If Thou keepest in remembrance iniquity, Yahweh,
Lord, who shall stand?
4. But with Thee is forgiveness,
that Thou mayest be revered.
5. I hope in Yahweh; my soul hopeth,
and I await His word.
6. My soul longeth for the Lord
more than watchmen long for the dawn.
7. Israel, put thy hope in Yahweh!
For with Yahweh is mercy,
with Him abundant redemption.
8. It is He who will redeem Israel
from all his iniquities.
