1. The Lord said to my Lord: Sit Thou at my right hand: Until I make Thy enemies Thy footstool.
2. The Lord will send forth the sceptre of Thy power out of Sion: rule Thou in the midst of thy enemies.
3. With Thee is the principality in the day of Thy strength: in the brightness of the saints: from the womb before the day star I begot thee.
4. The Lord hath sworn, and he will not repent: Thou art a priest for ever according to the order of Melchisedech.
5. The Lord at thy right hand hath broken kings in the day of His wrath.
6. He shall judge among nations, He shall fill ruins: He shall crush the heads in the land of the many.
7. He shall drink of the torrent in the way: therefore shall He lift up the head.

12. Let there be none to show him kindness,
let none have pity on his orphans!
13. May his descendants be given over to destruction,
and their name be blotted out in the second generation!
14. May the iniquity of his fathers be remembered before Yahweh,
and may the guilt of their mother not be blotted out!
15. May they be ever before Yahweh,
and may He cut off their memory from the earth!
16. Because he remembered not to show mercy,
because he persecuted the afflicted and the needy,
and the brokenhearted, to put him to death.
17. He loved cursing: let it fall upon him;
he had no delight in blessing: let it depart from him.
18. He clothed himself with cursing as with a garment;
like water it entered into his inward parts,
and like oil it penetrated into his bones.
19. May it be to him as the garment that wraps him,
as the belt that girds him continually!
let none have pity on his orphans!

19. May it be to him as the garment that wraps him,
as the belt that girds him continually!
20. May this be the reward from Yahweh for my adversaries,
and for those who speak evil against me.
21. But Thou, Lord Yahweh,
defend me for Thy name’s sake;
in Thy great goodness, deliver me.
22. For I am afflicted and poor,
and my heart is wounded within me.
23. I pass away like the shadow at its decline,
I am shaken off like the locust.
24. My knees totter from fasting,
and my body is wasted with leanness.
25. I am an object of reproach to them;
they look at me and wag their heads.
26. Help me, Yahweh, my God!
Save me in Thy goodness!
27. Let them know that this is Thy hand,
that Thou, Yahweh, hast done it!
28. They curse, but Thou wilt bless;
they rise up, but they shall be put to shame,
and Thy servant shall rejoice.
29. My adversaries shall be clothed with disgrace,
and wrapped in their shame as in a cloak.
and for those who speak evil against me.

30. My lips shall greatly praise Yahweh;
I will celebrate Him in the midst of the multitude;
31. for He stands at the right hand of the poor man,
to save him from those who condemn him.
